Addiction

He thinks of her, her gentle touch the reason he's alive. Reproachless love, it means so much as he tries to survive. It's her that spurs his spirit on, her love that never dies. He feels closest to the dawn When, in her arms, he lies. If only love could quell his lust rid him of this affliction but it cannot and so he must beware of his addiction. His hands begin to tremble, His arms begin to quake To stop it would be simple if this promise he could break. Just on the edge of sanity he seems to walk a line.
